Dr. Thomas Quisenberry, Pastor

Thomas Quisenberry received Bachelor Degrees from Clemson University in English and Political Science, and Master of Divinity from the Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA, and his Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary. Thomas has been the Pastor at First Baptist since October of 2010. He grew up in First Baptist Clemson, SC, and has served churches in Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia. He met his wife, Maggie, when they were both students at seminary in Richmond. Their Three boys and one girl keep them active and laughing a good deal. Thomas enjoys reading, Clemson athletics, and droning on about the wonderful Old Testament.

Jeff Parker, Minister of Music and Worship

Jeff Parker grew up in Marion, IL, with a twin sister and older brother.  After beginning his college experience at the University of Illinois, he graduated from Belmont (College) University with a Bachelor of Music.  He also holds a Master of Church Music from the former Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.  He served churches in North Carolina for almost 20 years before coming to FBC Chattanooga in 2008.  Jeff‘s wife, Jenny, and their two daughters share his love of music.  For mental, spiritual and physical health, Jeff enjoys running through the beautiful settings in and around Chattanooga.

Michael Sepulveda, Minister to Children and Youth

Michael Sepulveda grew up in Arlington, Texas. As an adult he made his way to Chattanooga through the great cities of Birmingham, AL and Richmond, VA. He has  a daughter who is a student at Samford University as well as a son at Signal Mountain High School who is actively involved at FBC. Michael began his college "career" at Ouachita Baptist University in 1993 and eventually graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He received his Master of Divinity at Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond in 2010. Michael has ministered to children and youth for almost 25 years and has served at First Baptist since August of 2011. In his spare time he loves hiking in the woods with friends and family, playing guitar and basketball, watching his hometown sports teams (Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks and Stars) and is truly a fanatic for his UAB Blazers.
